The Particle Counter Calibration Laboratory is accredited by ENAC with accreditation num. 80LC/10.055 in the 0.27 µm to 5 µm rangeto Particle size and in the 0,3 µm to 0,5 µm to Particle concentration. To carry out this type of calibration, the Laboratory has two calibration procedures, (TP001 &TP002), internal Laboratory documents covered by the ENAC accreditation, specifying all the steps to be followed to calibrate Particle Counters in Air or CPA. Carrying out this type of calibration begins with standard size particle suspensions certified by an accredited laboratory. It consists of determining the minimum voltage threshold of a counter to calibrate aerosol suspensions containing monodispersed particles of a known size. By this method, the ratio between the particles size and the signal detector output voltage of the equipment to be calibrated is determined. When this ratio is determined, the procedure to determine the particle size is applied starting with the voltage - particle size ratio.
The calibration process in Azbil Telstar Technologies, S.L.U.'s Laboratory satisfies the most comprehensive working procedures, which guarantee that a client’s equipment is treated with great care.
