Laminar flow Recirculation system for Instrument Preparation

Commonly the air that is used is coming from outside, meanwhile technical solutions have proved efficiency with using internal air by means of recirculation.

Telstar can deliver this so called Recirculation laminar flow system for Instrument Preparation in several sizes. The size of the laminar flow system depends on the requirements of the end-user. In some of the European countries (Telstar can inform you) such is not common due to local practice/ regulations, however in many European countries (Germany, Switzerland, The Netherlands, England etc.) it is coming up more and more. There are different ways to recirculate the air in Operating Theatres.

Ceiling Recirculation Module

Ceiling recirculation module are placed in the intermediate ceiling of the instrument preparation area. Recirculation modules are equipped, from air intake side, with fluff separator, pre-filter, sound absorber, cool battery dry cooling (option) and ventilator. After the recirculation module a sound absorber is placed. The recirculation module extracts the air from the room and bring it back into the canopy above the HEPA filters. Depending on the total (recirculation) air volume the quantity of recirculation modules are selected.
