Introduction

Telstar is pleased to present its partner's, UIC GmbH, thermolabile product distillation equipment.

The Thin Film Short Path distillation processes are performed under vacuum, which reduces the boiling temperature of the mixture to be distilled, in some cases by as much as 100 ºC. Using this technique, thermolabile products can be distilled with minimum thermal degradation.

With more than 50 years of experience in the field, UIC offers unsurpassed know-how on vacuum distillation technology. This company develops, designs, carries out basic and detail engineering, constructs, distributes and carries out the maintenance for distillers operating under vacuum. UIC also carries out distillation tests with client samples to obtain reliable data with which to design or construct specific distillers for each client's specific application.
