Cryogenic Tanks Cryopreservation and storage in dry atmosphere

Introduction

Liquid Nitrogen Cryogenic Tanks for Storing Biological Samples at -190 ºC

Telstar, in collaboration with its partner CBS, world leaders in cryogenic tank production for biological sample cryopreservation or storage distribute the latest innovation which uses cutting-edge technology for storing samples at -190 ºC: "dry" (CBS) tanks, with a double jacket (full of liquid nitrogen) around the entire tank perimeter and in its base, and totally insulated from the outside, to ensure a temperature gradient that goes from -190 ºC at the tank mouth to -185 ºC in the lower part of the sample tray. This ensures an even temperature for the samples, the absence of risks for the user as there is no liquid nitrogen in the tray and the capability to utilize all of the tank's capacity.
